**Ron Joyce** is the President & CEO of [**Joyce Farms**](https://joyce-farms.com/) (**[@joycefarms](https://www.instagram.com/joycefarms/)**) which was **started in 1962** by Alvin Joyce and is still a **family-owned** business today. Alvin’s son, Ron Joyce, and his two sons, Ryan and Stuart, lead the farm located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Joyce Farms has come a long way since the company was founded in 1962, going from just selling chickens to **raising the very best all-natural poultry, beef and game for the top chefs, artisanal butchers, and educated consumers across the U.S. through regenerative agriculture.**

**Note: **

In this episode, my guest referred to Covid-19 as the 'China Virus'. I was remiss in correcting him, and would like to do so now. There's been increased violence against Asian-Americans happening of late ([https://time.com/5938482/asian-american-attacks/](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftime.com%2F5938482%2Fasian-american-attacks%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0rMBz8VhYpuwg1EX6ojupt24cGnuj0LsV6aKzxugp_SedHSjSOKxzbcks&h=AT3ITOuYwjcjP2OCu1nTAmw_HoxpHBRhc4VX0MdGyQsey-1Smkj7gcKnEJ1XPfZHamytmBbig9Trh5HqczjfcbNHgiMXwj6pEMFpWGc6CenCsQwIjtfBW-0l9nO-lZDtOdE)).
